Código Mágico Street, the walking in of the women

Código Magico Street, the Women's Walking in, is a public art film project and an improvisation documentary. This work approaches strategies of narrative films to blur the lines between narrative conventions and experimentation.
Chance, nomadism and fortuitous encounters are elements that characterize this project. It reveals stories of women told by themselves who live in the periphery, invisible and absent from official history. Investigates issues of gender equity, emphasizes their lives and sustainable and ancestral jobs. Codigo Mágico Street, the women's walking in exploring the memory of creative work inherited by women from generation to generation.
Hernández proposes chance and drift as an aesthetic proposal and fortuitous encounters as a product of symbolic actions.
Código Mágico Street aims to strengthen our identities through the recovery of memory, knowledge, establish forums for the exchange of ideas and discussions.

Anaida Hernández is a contemporary artist who works in alternative media and improvised documentaries for television and cultural institutions. She is the creator of the "stop motion" for this project.
